About us:
Hi, we are the forecasting and Improvement team and we are looking for an experienced and talented Real Time Analyst to join our busy and varied team. We look after a number of teams in our service. Both customer and non-customer facing.

Our aim is to ensure our customers get the best service possible and a fantastic Macmillan experience by ensuring all ways to contact Macmillan are always properly resourced.

We use a range of software packages, have strong analysis skills and work in a fast-paced environment. It’s a demanding and exciting job for sure.

About the role:
As a member of the Forecasting and Improvement team you’ll play a pivotal role in the service delivery to our Fundraising customers. You will be working with a range of stakeholders to ensure our resources are planned in the most effective and strategic way to maximise service delivery. Our primary customer, The Supporter Care Hub, handles over a quarter of a million customer contacts a year via phone calls, emails, webchats and a range of different social media channels.

It’s a role where you will need to utilise your previous experience in resource planning/real time service delivery to ensure we plan ahead as effectively as possible across all channels, at time in challenging circumstances. The role demands taking an innovative approach to solving resourcing scenarios which are both complex and need to be delivered within a tight budget.

The role requires someone with a flair for data and analysis. Someone who is comfortable handling data from multiple sources and consolidating into meaningful reports/analysis for our internal customers.

About you:
We are looking for someone who is motivated to help develop the opportunities, tools, and resources to deliver great outcomes for Macmillan. Our ideal person will have:

Experience of working in a complex multi service and channel environment
Experience of managing and prioritising own workload to be able to work on multiple tasks with interruption and changing business priorities
Experience in a range of IT systems, including Workforce management tools (WFM), telephony, – all aspects of reporting and call flow management, internet, and main Microsoft products
Experience in delivering performance to required quality and productivity SLA’s and KPI’s
Experience of using planning and real-time management tools and skills within a contact centre
Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills to evaluate performance and issues
High attention to detail with the ability to identify trends in service level performance
Solution focused
Experience of producing and analysing performance and intelligence reports
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the department, using analysis and evidence to support recommendations
