Detailed Description Job

Working as part of a highly committed team at Sunrise the Administrative Assistant is one of the key roles within our communities, you will be providing the community with business administration support. You will be reporting into the Business Office Coordinator and liaising with key stakeholders within the business.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing the home with Payroll Processing and overall Human Resources Administration support for new starters and current team members. This also includes recruitment administration and compliance, Accounts Receivable data in putting and Billing Administration.

You will be responsible for petty cash and ordering stationery, sending payment/refund requests to Support Office with supporting and signed off paperwork, posting resident cheque receipts to Support Office for Banking.

About you

  • Previous administration experience is essential – ideally working in a similar setting.
  • Previous customer service experience is essential
  • Ability to deal with confidential information appropriately
  • Able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated individual, able to work in a team and on their own initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate – able to demonstrate strong skills in Excel, Word and to be able to learn other applications
  • Flexible in working hours.

Sunrise of Frognal are recruiting for a Receptionist to join our team in our home based in Sidcup. We have a 12 hour and a 18 hour position available per week, working shifts (8am-2pm/2pm-8pm) and working alternate weekends.

About the role

Working as part of a highly committed team at Sunrise the Receptionist is one of the pivotal roles within our communities. As Receptionist you will put the residents care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. At Sunrise we pride ourselves on the warmth and support we provide to our residents and their families. We promote independence, dignity and quality of life at all times in a person centred caring and supportive environment.

As the Receptionist, you provide the first impression for all visitors into the Sunrise community. You will be responsible for greeting potential residents, families, visitors, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages. The Receptionist provides an overview of community information to those enquiries in support of the marketing and sales efforts. Other responsibilities include monitoring the Bistro area for refreshments, music, cleanliness as well as general administrative duties. It will be your role to support the welcoming and supportive feeling of a Sunrise community.

About you

  • Proven experience in a customer service role is required, having demonstrated excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills.
  • You must have good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills as well as be an organised record keeper.
